Back on the track at Willow Springs!
Saturday and Sunday, May 7-8, 2016
Spring is here and that means it’s time to get ready for another Open Track weekend at Willow Springs International Raceway. This year, the event will be held on Saturday 5/7/16 and Sunday 5/8/16 but most participants will arrive sometime during the day on Friday to get settled in early. Details about the event can be found below as well as a flyer you can download and mail in to register for the event. If you have any questions, please contact Lynn Park at 818-790-0427.
Here are some of the event details:
- This isn’t a race and there aren’t any awards. We go to have a fun and safe weekend with our cars!
- Entry fee per car for the entire weekend is $200
- Cars will be teched at the track, but make sure your car is ready before you come out
- Mandatory driver’s meeting on Saturday morning at 9 AM
- Special hotel rates at the Oxford Suites in Lancaster if you mention the Cobra Owners Club
- RSVP by May 3, 2016

Hi Brett, I’m doing very well just extremely busy at work! I hope you are doing well too. We will definitely be at Willow Springs in May and are looking to arrive on Friday late afternoon. Also, thanks for the kind words on the newsletter. Credit goes to Pat Martin who still puts it’s together though. We just send it out via email and post it online. đŸ˜‰
Hopefully you will be at Willow too and please, please, please let me get a ride in the GT350 for a passenger lap if you are bringing that car!!!
Ha, if I bring it you would be the first. Not intending to though. Too much work to keep the rock chips off it. I took it out to willow a few months back and the prep to tape it up was a nightmare. Plus the tires are $400 ea, OUCH!!! We’ll see u and Deena there. I think Sandy is bringing out his new GT350 though.
