All, I thought it would be a good idea to start threads showing off our cars so we have a little background info and history on the cars. I’ll go first…

My 2001 Mustang Cobra was purchased by my Dad in NJ in 2001 as a father and son hobby car. We entered the car in car shows, drag raced, auto crossed and even did on track events. Eventually I was able to fulfill my dream of one day buying the car off him and recently brought it out here to California. It currently has about 29,000 miles and the mods are as follows:

      Borla Stinger Catback Exhaust
      MGW Shifter and knob
      S&B filter
MM Full Length Sub Frame Connectors
      2003 Cobra pedals

Here are some pics from over the past 13 years…

Auto Cross at Englishtown Raceway Park

      Drag Racing at Island Dragway

      On Track at Pocono Raceway

      Finally arriving in CA

      On Track at Willow Springs

I grew up in PA, southwest of Phila, but didn’t get into running open tracks till I was out here. Pocono raceway looks like a fun track to drive and I miss those back roads of PA

Pocono Raceway was a blast and the track that day consisted of 1/2 of the Nascar banked oval and then twists on the infield. It was my first track day ever and I had a great time. Driving all out up to about 130 on the straight was the best. I lived in PA myself when I was growing up for 12 years. We were north east of Philly in Bucks Country. Yardley, PA was the name of the town but then eventually my family moved back to NJ when I was in high school. PA and NJ back roads with little traffic were great but you always needed to watch out for deer, especially at night!
